Deadline to submit content is Monday, December 11
The City of Niagara Falls announced today that it is reintroducing the MyCity Guide for the 2024 calendar year.
The MyCity Guide magazine includes municipal contact information, a frequently asked question section, information on City Council, facilities, recreational and cultural amenities, programming, and venue rental opportunities. Additionally, the guide will include a section that provides information on community organizations.
City staff are encouraging Niagara Falls-based community groups and businesses to submit their contact information online via the MyCity Guide Portal (niagarafalls.ca/mycityguide). The community section is limited to non-profit groups and businesses that provide either a recreation, culture or community support service that will benefit the quality of life for residents in promoting a positive, healthy lifestyle. The listing is free of charge.
The community listing section is geared towards non-profits but can include for-profit businesses that fit within the criteria. This excludes businesses and organizations involving for-profit retail, finance, for-profit health services, rental services, manufacturing, food & beverage, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, firearms, or are classified as political or religious in nature. Inclusion in the MyCity Guide is at the sole discretion of City staff.
Submissions for the 2024 edition of the MyCity Guide are being accepted until the Monday, December 11 deadline. All submissions are to be completed online at niagarafalls.ca/mycityguide.
The release of the MyCity Guide is currently scheduled for February 2024, with hard copies being made available to the public at select municipal facilities. An online version will be posted on the City’s website.
