Two Pelham events receive 2024 Top 100 Awards from Festivals Events Ontario

The Town of Pelham has, for the second year, received two Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) Top 100 awards recognizing the annual four-day Pelham Summerfest Festival and the Pelham Summer Chill Series, which combines live music, the farmers’ market and the supper market.

On Wednesday, February 28, during FEO’s Annual Conference “IMAGINE,” hosted in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the award was accepted on behalf of the municipality by staff from the Recreation, Culture and Wellness department and the chair of the Pelham Summerfest volunteer group. The 2024 FEO Top 100 Awards are presented to festivals and events across Ontario that excel within the industry and are selected by an independent panel of judges. Winners of the awards reflect the best of the best in industry practices, the hard work, and the commitment of those who make the festivals and events industry in Ontario a success.

“It is so rewarding to see both Pelham Summerfest and Pelham Summer Chill receiving recognition. These two events would not happen without the wonderful people who come out to enjoy them and the dedicated efforts of volunteers and businesses that work tirelessly alongside town staff to support the events. We are looking forward to another great year in 2024!”

Director of Recreation Culture and Wellness Vickie vanRavenswaay
